Movers Connect

We check the line before we sell you the speed.

Every address is served by a particular nbn technology, and that technology sets the ceiling on what any plan can deliver. We look it up first, then recommend a tier the connection can actually carry.

- Technology at the premises

FTTP
Fibre to the premises. Highest tiers available, installed to a wall box inside.

FTTC
Basic accumulation, interval, or a smart meter that can be read and re-energised remotely.
FTTN
Flat, time-of-use, or demand — this decides whether a cheap peak rate is actually cheap for you.
HFC
Many apartment buildings buy in bulk and on-sell. If yours does, your retailer choice may be limited — we’ll tell you straight away.
Fixed wireless

- What we set up

Internet on day one, not day nine.

Home internet

nbn plans matched to the technology at the address, with the typical evening speed quoted — the figure that actually describes what you'll get at 8pm.

Mobile and data

Number porting handled with the move so you're not off the air mid-relocation, plus a mobile broadband stopgap where an install window falls after your move-in date.

New developments

A brand-new estate or apartment may attract an nbn new development charge and can be served by an alternative fibre network rather than nbn. We identify it before you order.

If the earliest install window lands after your move-in date, ask us for a 4G or 5G stopgap. It’s often a month-to-month plan you can cancel the day the fixed line goes live.

Telecommunication Retailers

Compare a wide range of Telecommunication services retailers catering to customers across Australia.

- Broadband questions

The ones we get every day.

How do I know what NBN speed I can get?

In most cases, switching is seamless with minimal to no downtime. We coordinate with your new provider to ensure a smooth transition.
Most providers include a modem/router with their plans. Some offer premium routers for WiFi 6 support. You may also use your own compatible equipment.
